The FAW JH6 6×4 Flatbed Truck with Knuckle Boom Crane is designed to integrate powerful lifting performance with reliable material transport capability, making it a versatile tool for heavy-duty industries. Built by CLW Group on the FAW JH6 chassis, this crane truck supports daily operations where lifting, loading and hauling must be completed efficiently in one vehicle.
The vehicle features a 6×4 driving configuration, delivering strong support for heavy loads and long working hours. With a GVW of 24,900 kg and a curb weight of 15,800 kg, the chassis provides excellent stability for lifting operations. Its overall dimensions measure 11,980 × 2,500 × 3,980 mm, offering a long flatbed while maintaining maneuverability on mixed terrains. The 4600+1350 mm wheelbase, together with 2055/1878/1878 mm wheel track, ensures balanced weight distribution and enhanced performance under full load.
Powering the truck is the CA6DK2A28E65 Euro 5 engine, a six-cylinder in-line, turbocharged and intercooled diesel engine with a displacement of 7.751 L. It delivers 209 kW (280 HP) at 2100 rpm and a maximum torque of 1100 N·m at 1300–1500 rpm, providing strong traction for steep gradients and long-distance hauls. The engine is paired with a FAST 12JSD200TA-B manual transmission featuring 12 forward gears and 2 reverse gears, giving drivers precise control across various working conditions.
The truck reaches a top speed of 85 km/h and features a 20° approach angle and 12° departure angle, enabling it to handle uneven roads and work zones with confidence. FAW's heavy-duty 7-ton front axle and dual 16-ton rear axles, together with 315/80R22.5 tires (10+1 spare), contribute to durability and safe load-bearing capability.
The integrated flatbed measures 8200 × 2300 × 550 mm, offering ample space for transporting machinery, construction materials, steel structures or prefabricated components. This combination of large flatbed and powerful crane allows operators to load, secure and transport cargo using a single machine, significantly improving overall operational efficiency.
At the core of the lifting system is the XCMG GSQZ132.4 knuckle boom crane, engineered for flexible yet powerful performance. It offers:
Max lifting capacity of 6,300 kg, suitable for industrial machines, steel beams and heavy prefabricated materials.
132 kN·m lifting moment, ensuring smooth and stable load handling.
12.2 m maximum hydraulic outreach, ideal for reaching over obstacles or accessing deep storage zones.
28 MPa maximum operating pressure and 25 L/min recommended pump capacity for fast, responsive crane movements.
100 L oil tank capacity for continuous and stable hydraulic operation.
360°/420° continuous rotation, enabling precise multidirectional lifting without repositioning the truck.
604 mm stabilizer spread that enhances lifting stability, especially on uneven or soft ground.
This knuckle boom crane configuration allows operators to work in confined areas where telescopic cranes may be restricted, making it useful for complex job sites. Additionally, the crane's folding design helps reduce transport height and allows better movement in urban environments.
The truck's construction features robust, corrosion-resistant materials designed for long-term outdoor use. Combined with pre-installed outriggers and a strong flatbed frame, the vehicle ensures safe operation even under challenging conditions. Its modular design also supports optional attachments such as grabs, hooks and winches depending on customer needs.
This FAW JH6 knuckle boom crane truck is ideal for construction, logistics, industrial maintenance, steel structure installation and remote project support. With proven working cases in Middle Eastern, Central African and South American markets, it provides a trusted lifting and transport solution for international customers.

Operation notice
1. Working radius on the chart has taken loading deflection into account. So we can calculate the allowed loading weight by this actual working radius.
2. When the length of boom is between two data's shown in the table, you should take the loading weight data of bigger working radius as a standard value.
3. When crane boom extends longer than 6.5m, the legs should fully stretch out.
4. When crane boom is operated at the front of the supporting leg, the loading weight value on the table decreases to 25% or less.
5. The table on the right does not consider the influence of boom deflection.
6. The maximum total loading weight on the table takes that leg standing on solid level ground as a level ground condition and includes the weight of hook and pulley (40kg).
7. When the ground clearance of the heavy goods is over 300mm, please don't stretch the arm down or out. But can stretch the cable of the crane.
Attention: This data of the rated lifting load is based on the good stability of crane. When the stability of the crane is insufficient, please reduce the lifting weight properly.
